For the month of May we ventured north again to one of our favourite London park areas, Hampstead Heath. We love visiting the Heath to enjoy a long walk and swim with our dogs, plus the sounding area is full of lovely dog friendly places.

WATERSTONES
BOOKSHOP AND CAFE

(68-69 Hampstead High St, NW3 1QP)

We could have spent the whole day in this beautiful Waterstones book store, located just a short walk from Hampstead Heath Station. With so many books to choose from and in such a welcoming dog friendly atmosphere, it made for the perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon and what a great activity to do with your dog; book shopping/ reading with your dog?

BIGGIE BEST

(65 S End Rd, Hampstead, NW3 2QB)

This cute little cafe and store is located very close to the park and is perfect for a post dog walk coffee and pastry. The team are really friendly and welcoming and there is a great atmosphere to the store. The gift store is located at the back of the cafe where you will find a selection of beautiful things to shop for the home and yourself. Plus they have a picture wall for dogs, which obviously tells us a lot about the place - so lovely.

THE GARDEN GATE

(14 S End Rd, Hampstead, NW3 2QE)

This pub is gorgeous in and out. Located only a few seconds away from the park and Hampstead Heath station, we really enjoy going there on a Sunday afternoon for a delicious Sunday roast. Plus the pub garden and inside areas are so big, dogs of any size are welcome.

SILVERBERRY

(14 Pond St, Hampstead, NW3 2PS)

If you’re looking to have a nice, cosy brunch or afternoon tea after a long walk with you dog this is the place to go. We really enjoyed visiting this deli & kitchen, with seating outside we spent the afternoon tucking into some delicious cake and coffee.

CARLUCCIO'S

(32 Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead, NW3 1NH)

If you’re after a great meal, we found this Italian restaurant just a few minutes away from the park where dogs are welcome on their terrace. They serve delicious Italian specialities, using fresh ingredients at an affordable price. The high street the restaurant is situated on is lively, and their outdoor seating area is perfect for some dog and people watch.
