Top 5 Dog Friendly Places to Visit | Exmouth Market

Exmouth market is a beautiful example of ‘London village life’. This unique area, which is full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants is located between Islington and the City and makes for the perfect afternoon out with the dog.

Exmouth Street Food Market

Exmouth Market offers a daily street food market from 12-3pm with Thursday and Friday being the busiest days. This eclectic market of up to 20 artisan food stalls offers an alternative to the average lunch spot . After grabbing some food you can head to Spa Fields Pars to enjoy your lunch while the dog has a run around. The park is small but perfect for a quick stop, plus it has a table tennis table for sunnier days.

If the weather is not one your side then you can head to Pizza Pilgrims to enjoy some of their delicious slow proved Neapolitan Pizza. Dogs are welcome and we are massive fans of their Aubergine parmigiana pizza and if you still have room their Nutella Pizza Ring it's the ultimate in indulgence treats.

Marby & Elm

We always love to check out and support other independent stores whenever we can and we are big fans of Marby & Elm when it comes to finding the perfect greeting card (we always stock up on them whenever we are there!). The letterpress stationery and design shop is beautiful and all their products are designed in the shop.

If your looking for a unique gift look no further then Space EC1. The shop has a great selection of gifts ranging from ceramics, jewelry, home-ware and books (we always end up finding an amazing book whenever we pop in!)

Botanique Workshop

We couldn’t pop to Exmouth market and not pop in and see our friends (along with shop dog Goose) at Botanique Workshop. We featured their Stoke Newington store in our previous post but their space on Exmouth market was their original store and holds the most amazing array of beautifully sourced gifts, flowers and plants.

Gail's Bakery

Now we normally only feature 5 places to visit but we couldn’t go without telling you about the amazing treats at Gail’s Artisan Bakery. Your not allowed inside with dogs, however they do have an outdoor seating area and all their drinks and pastries can be taken away. Their hot chocolate (which also comes in a vegan option) is out of this world and at this time of year we can all do with a little treat.

Plus all of their takeaway cups are now lined with BioPBS which is made from sugar cane waste and is biodegradable and compostable at room temperature. Being made from sugar cane waste, edible food crop is not sacrificed in the manufacture process.
