Broadway Market

We’re very lucky when it comes to the location of our shop, which is nestled within the heart of London Fields, Hackney and only a two minute walk from Broadway Market.  During the week Broadway Market has a quaint village feel which is packed with fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. However it’s on a Saturday that this road really comes to life as the market becomes the real star. Stretching all the way down the street this food-lovers market is as much about seeking out quality food as it is about soaking up the relaxed atmosphere – with a freshly grilled burger in one hand and a chilled ice coffee in the other. Stalls range from delicious desserts with a twist on the classics including the meringue girls and crosstown doughnuts to the katsu chicken wraps and unbelievably good tuna burgers from the guys at Fish & Flounder, and if the sun is shining a stop at Nonna’s cycle kart for some homemade gelato is a must. Spices, cheeses, breads, rare-breed meat, handmade pasta and olives are all present – it's hard to imagine the need to go anywhere else for your weekly food shop. The only issue you have is trying to figure out what to eat and from where.

In addition to the market there is also a great collection of shops. Tiosk is a must stop for anyone who loves tea, we are big fans of their fruit infusions including their ice teas. However if you’re more of a coffee fan there is of course Climpson & Sons who are pioneers in the evolving London specialty coffee scene.
